Today we had to draw a beach. I was so excited to draw a beach because the beach is so colourful and bright. The first thing we had to do was to draw what the beach looks like. Afterwards we had to start the background with sponge and paint.
I chose colourful and bright colour to make it beautiful. The flowers were green,red and white in the inside. It was funny when i sat down and looked at the news paper because a man wasn't wearing clothes he was naked walking a dog in the park. Miss young didn't have engouh black so she went around all the junior class rooms and borrowed and old black that looks like jelly witch no one have eaten yet yuck!! What I enjoyed the most was scteching the beach in different kind of ways.I want to improve next time is to workharder and faster. My Favourite Dad The best thing I love about my special person is that he has black and grey hair and a large nose. He has a mustache too. My person is intelligent because he knows lots of things that I don’t know. He’s kind to me in different ways, like giving me five dollars every Thursday. He likes playing rugby and soccer at the park with me and my sister Cecelia and Alani, my brother. My favourite person helps me with my homework and sometimes help me with my chores if he finishes work early. Guess who it is? It’s my.....DAD
Every afternoon my Dad asks, “How was school, was it good?” My dad is funny because he tickles, me behind my knee and it hurts because he tickles me hard. My Dad has hairy legs and arms and they are very long.
My Dad is a tall person, he’s taller than me. His feet are gigantic and long like an enormous giant’s. We love watching TV together. We watch rugby and news together in the sitting room or in his bedroom. My dad is a hard worker, he works in a huge building.
Even though I sometimes get angry at my dad for not letting me go on the computer when it’s my turn, I still want to spend time with and I love him as well. By: Luti B5 Learning story Dancing to Old Dan Tucker
Yesterday B5 went to the resource room. We learnt a new dance called the Square dance. We learnt to count up to eight beats and go around the circle with our partner.
The hard part for me was to walk up to the middle and go around in a circle. It was hard to do it in time with the other girls. First we had to walk forwards in eight beats then go the other way. After that we went back to our partner.
I learnt how to do all of the moves at the same time.
What I really enjoyed was how the song Old Dan Tucker came on the radio and group 3 had to dance to the whole song at the same time. I was so much fun.
My next step is to remember to sing along and to remember my steps.

Dancing to Old Dan Tucker
